Brentwood at LaPorte, a Priority Life Care community, is proud to celebrate the First Annual Validation Week, August 17–23.

Held in partnership with the Validation Training Institute, this inaugural celebration recognizes the importance of compassion, connection, and person-centered dementia care.

Centered around “Meet Me Where I Am,” Validation Week encourages caregivers and families to listen, understand, validate feelings, and meet each person where they are in their journey.

Throughout the week, Brentwood at LaPorte will host activities celebrating residents’ life stories while educating families and community members about Validation.

Validation supports Priority Life Care’s Along the Journey dementia care philosophy by honoring each resident’s experiences and helping caregivers create meaningful moments of trust, comfort, and connection.
